ABOUT

Rainer Meri

Rainer Meri grew up in Estonia before moving abroad to pursue a career in the creative industries. He worked on a range of projects while writing short stories on the side.

Drawn to sci-fi, fantasy and horror, particularly fast-paced, cinematic worlds driven by intense action, he decided that the best way to tell the large-scale, character-driven stories he imagined was through a novel.

Inferno’s Silence is his debut novel: a standalone dark fantasy story that lays the groundwork for a larger saga, inspired by real-world insurrections, authoritarian regimes, and Eastern European folklore.
